Winner
The 2011 RIAS Andrew Doolan Award for Best building in Scotland, the most prestigious award in Scottish architecture, was awarded to Gareth Hoskins Architects for the National Museum of Scotland project. The practice led a team of consultants and contractors including David Narro Associates, Max Fordham LLP, Gardiner & Theobald, Ralph Appelbaum & Associates and Balfour Beatty to deliver what was one of the most complex and sensitive construction projects in Scotland, on time and on budget.
