Festival Dell'Architettura
Parma, Italy
Gareth Hoskins Architects were one of only four practices from around the world and the only practice from the UK to be invited to participate in this distinguished Italian architecture festival in September 2005. Gareth Hoskins Architects work was shown exclusively in the Galeria Imagina, within the Oltretorrente district of Parma.
The exhibition told the story of the practice from start-up in 1998 to the position in 2005 as a practice of over 35 people. Various models, plans and filmed interviews were on display. The wide range of projects on show included prestigious projects such as the Culloden Battlefield Memorial Centre at Inverness; the critically acclaimed masterplan for the Royal Museum, Edinburgh; and Robin House, Children’s Hospice at Balloch in the Loch Lomond and the Trossachs National Park.
