The Bridge Arts Centre
The RIBA Awards are given for buildings that have high architectural standards and make a substantial contribution to the local environment. The awards are annual, and have been running continuously since 1966.
The Bridge Arts Centre in Easterhouse, Glasgow was the only Scottish project to win a prestigious RIBA National Award 2007. The Bridge was described as “sensational and stunning” and as a truly accessible project that represented “urban regeneration at its most powerful”.
