“Edinburgh Castle’s most notorious eyesore – its makeshift ticket-office caravan – has finally made way for a sleek new box office. Bosses at Scotland’s No1 paid-for attraction have unveiled the new visitor centre to coincide with the launch of the first dedicated website for the castle. […] The new centre has been designed by Gareth Hoskins Architects, the leading firm drafted in to mastermind the planned overhaul of the Royal Museum of Scotland, on the city’s Chambers Street.”
