As Project Architect on Mid Yell School on Yell, Shetland, Gary Johnson of Gareth Hoskins Architects, has visited the existing school every month for the past year, working with pupils, teachers and the community to get their ideas on how the school should look and function. As a result, visiting at different times of year, he has built up an understanding of the problems such a remote location poses.”
