Davie Cooper Centre

Gareth Hoskins Architects have been asked to design an outdoors focused family centre, adventure playground and respite accommodation in Clydebank, Glasgow for the Scottish charity The Davie Cooper Centre. The charity is named as a tribute to the highly respected local sportsman, the late Davie Cooper. The centre will be purpose built to offer stimulation, fun and friendship for special needs children and young adults who may have either, learning difficulties, physical disabilities, behavioral or emotional problems. The family centre is designed for up to 60 children, the respite accommodation will have 4 bed spaces, and the centre will develop an outreach programme to operating throughout Scotland.
