Niall Iain studied Architecture at the University of Strathclyde before joining Gareth Hoskins Architects in 2001 as an Architectural Assistant. His natural aptitude for all things technical and Information Technology related meant he was often called upon to handle these matters in the early days of the practice. Additional training followed and Niall’s role developed and expanded to become full time IT Manager in 2003, being promoted to Associate level in 2008.

Niall’s skills and ability in budgeting, sourcing, managing and providing training on the company’s now wide ranging and comprehensive IT resources, both hardware and software, and in coordinating the development of our systems and processes have made him an integral and indispensable part of the company. He also coordinates many of the practice’s sporting activities, including particularly the hill walking group, and manages Gareth Hoskins Architects league football team - more of a test of patience and fortitude than any complex IT problem!
