To round off what has been a great year for the practice, Gareth has become the first architect to win a Glenfiddich Spirit of Scotland Award, in the Arts Category. He was up against some very strong competition from painter, Alison Watt; ceramicist, Lotte Glob; and Art Gallery Director, Richard Ingelby.

Gareth received his award at a star-studded ceremony in Edinburgh that was broadcast on STV on St. Andrew’s Day. Afterwards, Gareth said, “As this is an award voted for by the public, it recognises not just the work our team are producing, but also the growing awareness of the architecture and design talent that exists within Scotland.”
