In March as a result of a limited design competition Gareth Hoskins Architects were commissioned as architects for the regeneration of Ardrishaig for development company H2O which is a partnership of British Waterways and Kilmartin. The site by the Crinnan Canal on the banks of Loch Fyne on the West Coast of Scotland will provide 150 residential units, retail, leisure, heritage and marina facilities. The practice will first develop the initial economic appraisal for the area into a strategic framework and detailed masterplan for the regeneration of the town.
