Gareth Hoskins Architects’ Projects Director Gary Johnson contributed to ‘Thinking outside the box - Learning outside the classroom’, one of the many workshops held at this one day event, which attracted various speakers including Amanda Baillieu, Editor of Building Design. The workshops focussed on the future of school developments and how they can be improved to maximize children’s potential to learn, addressing issues commonly criticised for poor design, such as spaces where pupils eat, socialise and most importantly learn.
