Glasgow Science Centre - On Site Start Of May
The works for the proposed alterations and extensions to improve the access/facilities at the Glasgow Science Centre are starting on site at the start of May. In general the project involves the addition of a new more identifiable entrance to the centre along with a feature glass wall to the square opposite the new BBC building. This development will allow the centre more flexibility with their operations together with enhancing their existing functions. The shop will be relocated to front of the existing building and improved ticketing facilities are planned in the atrium space. The key aspect with the proposed work is the 2 stage phases of works allowing the centre to be open at all times. It is due for completion later this year.
