Gareth Hoskins Architects shortlisted for V&A; Dundee
The team of Gareth Hoskins Architects with Snohetta has been shortlisted as one of six finalists for the V&A at Dundee project. Over 120 architect and design teams from around the world made submissions to the design competition which aims to develop a new centre of 21st century design for Scotland at the heart of Dundee’s waterfront. The dynamic combination of a landmark building on a superb site and outstanding content will help drive forward Dundee’s Waterfront regeneration and stimulate further Scotland’s creative industries.
Sir Mark Jones, Director of the V&A, said, “We are delighted with the results of the international architectural competition which attracted so many entries from practices all over the world. This is a particularly strong shortlist which promises to produce an outstanding building that reflects the V&A’s unique partnership with Dundee.”
The Gareth Hoskins Architects/Snohetta team also includes Lord Cultural Resources, Davis Langdon, Adams Kara Taylor and the BDSP Partnership.
