GIA Award for National Museum
Gareth Hoskins Architects’ critically acclaimed redevelopment of the Grade A listed National Museum of Scotland in Edinburgh has received a Glasgow Institute of Architects Design Award at the annual awards ceremony held on Friday 11 November.
The National Museum of Scotland reopened to the public on Friday 29 July and has since seen visitor numbers massively exceed expectations, with more than half a million visitors within the first month.
